Former Central Massachusetts Young Emissary Lidor David will present on the aging process, exploring why neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s afflict some people as they age. Now a graduate student at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Lidor works and studies in the Department of Biochemistry. She will talk about the work going on in the lab where she is employed, share their research model, and tell a little bit about her own research project. There will be time for questions afterwards. It will also be a chance for those who know Lidor to catch up with her, and for those who don’t to get to know her.
