Do you ever wake up on Monday morning with thoughts still circulating in your brain from Sunday morning news shows such as Face the Nation, FoxNews Sunday or Fareed Zakaria GPS? Or perhaps an article from Wall Street Journal Weekend edition, New York or London Times, The Jerusalem Post, Foreign Affairs or The Economist really got you thinking about world affairs: history as well as our future. Let’s meet up on the first Monday of the month for an open forum and a chance to bring up anything you wish on world affairs. We’ll meet at 10:00 and talk for up to an hour. No agenda, just a chance for people to share with each other something from their viewing or reading. Feel free to express your own ideas and viewpoints. It’s a foregone conclusion that we won’t all agree with each other. Let’s be sure that we agree that this will be a space where all are given a chance to speak, all will be listened to, and all will be treated with appropriate dignity and respect. We will begin by meeting on Zoom. The Zoom link will be in each weekly email. Once we have the all clear from the B.I. Medical Team, we can choose to meet inside at BI. And, oh Yeah, don’t forget the coffee!
