Dale Rosenberg
Dale Rosenberg
Dale is our Director of Learning and Engagement. She is responsible for programming, education (including both Rimon Religious School and Adult Education), and communications. Dale joined BI as the part-time Director of the Rimon Religious School in 2018 and is now a full time member of the BI Team. Dale is a career changer, coming to the field of Jewish Education after a successful career in information technology in New York City. Upon deciding to reinvent herself as a Jewish professional, she enrolled in the graduate school at Hebrew College in Newton, Mass., in September 2014 and completed two master's degrees there: one in Jewish Studies and the other in Jewish Education.
Dale lives with her wife, Rabbi Ahuvah Loewenthal, in Worcester, having moved here in July 2020 from Keene, N.H., where Rabbi Ahuvah served as the spiritual leader of Congregation Ahavas Achim. Dale is loving her short commute and she and Ahuvah enjoy having congregants and others over for Shabbat and holiday meals.
A lifelong learner with a passion for teaching about Judaism to all ages, Dale brings to Rimon a love of Jewish learning and an interactive, experiential approach suited to a multi-age group. Dale also teaches a variety of subjects to adults at Beth Israel and elsewhere. She edits BI@Home, our print newsletter, as well as our email communications, and updates our website.
Dale is generally at Beth Israel all day Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday as well as Shabbat and Sunday mornings. Look for her on Shabbat mornings with the Rimon students. She can be reached at DLE@bethisraelworc.org.
